The Fun Stuff:
I grew up reading Enid Blyton books and Princess Tina magazines, and dancing in local pantomimes. Despite the influence of Alistair MacLean, Indiana Jones and the first Star Wars movie, I studied enough to graduate from University.
It’s hardly surprising that I sought a career in the world of theatre and make-believe. After twenty years as a stage manager, I tried to get an MBA and a decent grown-up job. It didn’t happen; my academic writing was invaded by imaginary characters, so I took up writing fiction.
After several attempts at churning out meaningful literature, I decided to write the kind of books that I like to read instead, as well as guest blogs and light-hearted articles. Three decades in the entertainment industry have supplied me with plenty of material!
I share my life with two cats and a lot of books. I no longer work as a stage manager, which means I spend more time writing, eating chocolate, watching movies and scrapbooking. Just not all at the same time...
